An Adult Intermediate Ballet Class is now open for adults who work in other fields and want to keep ballet as part of their routine. Designed for those with prior experience, this class offers a focused and rewarding way to move, train, and reset without the pressure of a professional track.

This class is ideal for adults with busy schedules who want a structured, meaningful workout that challenges both body and mind. It moves beyond basics, offering combinations that build strength, coordination, and endurance, while still respecting the realities of adult bodies and daily responsibilities.

Whether you work in healthcare, education, business, or the arts, this class provides a space to disconnect from the day, reconnect with movement, and enjoy disciplined training in a supportive environment.

This class is for adults who want to:

Previous ballet experience is required.

Adult Open Ballet Classes

Ballet & Progressing Ballet Technique

Our Open Adult Program welcomes former, aspiring and beginner dancers of all levels in a supportive and educational environment. Classes focus on improving flexibility, strength, balance, posture and overall wellness through ballet technique and Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT). Using equipment such as fit balls, therabands and small exercise balls, students develop body awareness, coordination and muscular strength while enjoying the physical and artistic benefits of dance.

Adult Beginner Ballet Class No Experience Required

Mondays & Wednesdays @ 7:00 - 8:15 pm

A new Adult Beginner Ballet Class is now open for those who have always dreamed of dancing but never had the chance to begin. Designed especially for adults with little or no previous experience, this class offers a welcoming and supportive environment to explore the fundamentals of classical ballet.

The class focuses on basic technique, posture, flexibility, strength, and musicality, while encouraging confidence, body awareness, and self-expression. Whether students are returning to movement, seeking a new form of exercise, or fulfilling a lifelong dream, this class meets them where they are.

No prior dance background is necessary. All bodies, ages, and genders are welcome.

Harold Quintero

Harold Quintero is a distinguished ballet artist, educator, and artistic director whose international career spans more than two decades. Originally from Cuba, he graduated from the National Ballet School of Cuba in 2000 and immediately joined the renowned National Ballet of Cuba under the direction of the legendary Alicia Alonso. As a First Soloist, he performed leading roles in many of the classical ballet repertoire’s most celebrated works, including Don Quixote, Coppélia, Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, Raymonda, Le Corsaire, and La Bayadère.

Throughout his career, Mr. Quintero has appeared as a guest artist on prestigious international stages. He performed at the Miami International Ballet Festival in 2008 and was invited to dance Romeo and Juliet with the Cairo Opera House Ballet in Egypt in 2009, returning for additional performances in 2010. In 2016, he also appeared as a guest artist in productions of Swan Lake in Italy and Slovenia.

Recognized for his artistry, technical excellence, and dedication to classical ballet, Harold Quintero brings a wealth of international performance and teaching experience to every stage and studio he enters.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We welcome all adults regardless of whether or not they have had former dance training. We only ask that you keep a positive attitude, open mind, and be ready to move!

  • We recommend bringing a yoga mat, socks or ballet slippers, and a water bottle.

  • We ask adults to wear something they are comfortable moving in. What you would wear to the gym, like leggings and a tank top, is appropriate. If you have longer hair, we recommend you pull it back into a ponytail, braid, etc. Clips may not be comfortable for floor work.

  • We typically follow the Palm Beach County Academic school calendar for extended holidays. Please refer to your client portal, which will be available once you enroll for a complete list of school closures.
