Little Leapers Information
The first three years of your child’s life are vital to their development, and Little Leapers is designed to support their physical, cognitive, social and emotional growth through the power of play. This Grown Up & Me dance program for ages 18 months–3 years celebrates the joy of “firsts,” from their first dance class to their first dance school friendships. Through imaginative movement, music and exploration, children build confidence, coordination and a love of learning in a nurturing environment.

Charlene Shaw
Shaw began her dance training at age six and has studied with critically acclaimed artists such as David Howard, Melissa Hayden, Finis Young, Merdith Baylis, Suki Schorer, Stanley Williams and Madam Antonia Tumkovsky. As a professional, Shaw danced with the National Ballet of New Jersey, performing many principal roles in classics such as The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Giselle, Firebird, Stars and Stripes and Rodeo.
Along with being a versatile performer, Shaw has extensive teaching experience and is dedicated to providing a solid technical foundation to her students. Shaw's outstanding choreography has won numerous awards and has been recognized on the state and national levels.

Not at all! Toddlers learn through movement, music and play. Our classes are specifically designed for young children and focus on age-appropriate activities that support physical, social and cognitive development.

Having a trusted caregiver by their side helps young children feel secure while encouraging participation. Parents and caregivers actively join in songs, movement activities and games, creating special bonding experiences while supporting their child's learning.

Our program combines the joy of movement with early childhood development principles in a warm, supportive environment. Through music, storytelling, props and guided activities, we help children build foundational skills while creating meaningful moments between caregivers and their little ones.
